Yacht charter deals inside your AI assistant
The RYC MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants that speak the Model Context Protocol search the agent's discounted boats, open any boat in full and compare prices by month. It is the same live data as this site.
Server address
https://www.rycrentals.com/mcpStreamable HTTP, read-only, free, no sign-in. The data refreshes hourly, as on the site.
What the assistant can do
search_deals
Boats by destination, month or flexible dates, catamaran or monohull, cabins, group size, minimum discount and maximum price, sorted by discount, price or price per berth.
get_boat
One boat in full: dates and price, specs, equipment, mandatory and optional extras with prices, photos and its other discounted weeks.
list_destinations
Every destination: discounted boats for the next three months, the biggest and median discount, the cheapest week.
prices_by_month
Median price per berth per week and the share of discounted boats by destination, month and boat type.
list_routes
One-week sailing routes from a charter base: destination, days, miles, overnight stops in order and the route page.
get_route
A route's day-by-day plan: leg, miles, what to expect, stops with coordinates, practical notes and discounted boats from its start port.
request_availability
A link for the person to request a boat: the boat page opens with the availability form, an RYC manager replies on the site.
create_deal_alert
When nothing fits, a link to a deal alert with the trip details filled in: the agent searches every week and sends new boats.
is_good_deal
Whether a boat's price is really good: compared with hundreds of boats of the same type in the same destination and month, plus a recent price cut and cheaper weeks of the same boat.
trip_cost
What the week really costs a group: the boat plus mandatory extras by their unit, a skipper or other extras on request, total and per person.
compare_boats
Two to five boats side by side: price, price per berth, discount, price against the market, size, heads and age, with the best in each.
get_destination
One destination in depth: the sailing area, winds and bases, the season month by month, live deals, prices by month and routes.
search_guides
The site's own answers on licences, skippers, payment, deposits, extras, cancellation, seasons and routes, with a link to quote.
list_yacht_models · get_yacht_model
Yacht models with discounted weeks, and one model in depth: where it is available, from what price, the cheapest weeks and similar models.
Boat cards in the chat
In Claude and ChatGPT the search, one boat and the comparison also appear as cards with photos, prices and an “Ask to book” button. Other clients get the same data as text.
Ready-made commands: plan a sailing week, find a last-minute deal, compare yachts, is this a good price.
How to connect
Claude (claude.ai and desktop): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste the address.
ChatGPT: turn on developer mode in Settings, then create a custom connector with the address.
Claude Code: run this command.

About the data
Prices are for the whole boat for the listed dates, as shown by the source, before extras. Every boat shows when its price was checked. An RYC manager confirms availability and books the boat: open its page and press “Check availability”.
